Academic Secondary School affiliated to the Silesian University of Technology

The School was founded in 2018 in Gliwice by the Silesian University of Technology, the leading technical university in Poland. Currently, it has 185 students, aged 14 to 19, who are taught by 30 teachers. We are located in a historical building, which has been redecorated and added modern features. We have 11 classrooms, a lecture hall, an IT lab, and a natural science lab. Our pupils choose to study one of two academic profiles: Architecture or STEM. Both profiles offer majors at maths, physics and technical English. The architectural profile offers history of art, drawing while STEM students attend programming and choose another major at chemistry or biology. Our students get engaged at many STEM projects as we believe that project based learning encourages teamwork and entrepreneurial spirit. Our aim is to educate engineers of the 21st century whose creativity will shape the future world.
